How Can I Be Saved?
If you were to die today are you a 100% sure you would go to heaven?
The following Bible verses share how you can know for sure.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Have you ever sinned? The Bible tells us that everyone has sinned. That includes you when it says everyone. Because we have sinned we fall short of God and his glory.
Romans 6:23a
For the wages of sin is death…
Because you have sinned, the Bible says you deserve death or in other words you deserve to go to a Devil’s Hell.
Romans 6:23b
but the gift of God is eternal life.
God loved you so much that he then gives you a gift. This is the greatest gift you will ever receive….Heaven! What do you have to do to receive a gift? Maybe be a good person, work for it, or maybe live a good life? Of course not, you must only receive the gift. Now how does God give us this gift?
Romans 5:8
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
That word commendeth means to give. Even though we were sinners, God still loved us. He loves us so much that he sent Christ (or Jesus Christ) to die for us.
Romans 10:13
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
God tells us that whosoever, that means you, can call upon His name and be saved. But you might say that you are a wicked sinner and God could never forgive what I have done. That is incorrect. Whosoever means everyone.
